Now I have been home in Stockholm for about one week. The training camp we had in Cadiz, Spain was very giving! I am happy to finally have a coach to work with, we had all kinds of conditions and a lot of time on the water. Which was exactly what I needed, because right now I am working on getting more consistent.
Here is a short edit I made from the two weeks training camp in Cadiz:
Tomorrow I am flying back to Spain to stay there during February! I feel very exited to get back on the board and train with my good friend Sebastian Fleischer who I was training with in Alicante and on Gran Canaria ( click here to see that trip ).
Had a very good time with my family celebrating christmas and new years among the mountains in northern Sweden where i grew up skiing. My focus this trip was to keep up my gym program and do as much snow kiting as possible. I succeeded with both 😉
I bumped in to my old ski trainer Daniel Nilsson who also loves to snow kite so we went on a few adventures among the mountains.

Right now I´m on the airport in Stockholm waiting for my flight to Cadiz, Spain. Tomorrow I´m going to start training with the Norwegian team and there Polish coach, I´m really exited to get back on the board!
Out of all the trips I have been on this was the craziest one, by far. Me and Sebastian Fleischer my training partner from Denmark, borrowed a Land Rover from KSSS and started our trip. It took us 36 hours to drive down all the way through Europe to Alicante, to do a training camp with two RS:X legends Joao Rodrigues from Portugal and Ivan Pastor from Spain.
After that we had two days of amazing surf in Portugal before we took the ferry to Gran Canaria.
On Gran Canaria we had very good training with a big fleet and nice surfing almost every day.

I love Santander! Beautiful city, good looking girls, nice weather and really nice surf. I went down here mostly to get to know the place and how it is to sail here. Because next year the real world championship will go off here and then 50 % of the nations that will go to Rio will be elected.
After studying like a motherf#%%ker until graduation and then starting to train directly afterwards for the europeans I feelt like I needed some real vacation. So I took of directly from Brest left Carson on the airport in Paris then picked up Gustaf Ytander my old friend from back home. We went on a sweet ass roadtrip, sleept under the sun and in tent all around southern Europe.
After our training camp in Sweden Jean-Sebastien flew back home, me and Carson went all the way to Brest in France by Car to do the European championship in RS:X. I did not do very well in the regatta but I learned a lot and had lots of fun so I still glad i did the trip.
The day after my graduation my buddy Jean-Sebastien Fugere flew in from Quebec, Canada. We did some sight seeing in Stockholm for two days. When Carson Crain flew in from Texas we were all set to start training so we went out in the archipelago to the Island where I grew up during the summers to start our training camp. Play my first video blog below to see how it went.
The reason I am here is simply a lot of luck. My equipment was getting shipped back from Florida and ended up here in Hyères instead of Stockholm. I found a €30 flight ticket and my school kind of accepted me taking some more time off again after one month in Florida. So now I’m here sleeping on the floor in my friends apartment. However, the logistic issues finally got sorted and all I have left is to book a ticket back home.
We also did the first races, unfortunately in very poor conditions. Offshore wind around 2-5 knots and very shifty. Too bad it never seem to shift in my way 🙁
